About Maria
Good morning/ Good afternoon, My name is Maria Fowlkes. I'm a high schooler taking a college course. You might be wondering why should I hire a high school student to help your children, you should hire me because I have taken over 4 AP classes, Honors English and Math, and many other things.
Honestly, I possess all the skills and experience that you might be looking for. I’m pretty confident that I am the best choice for helping your child achieve their goals and bring up their grades.
I started tutoring because I had a love for making kids enjoy learning with different approaches and 1 on 1 learning time.
I have been tutor cousins, family, and neighbors since I was 16 yrs old.

Finding ways to inspire your child to want to do the work, finding ways to incorporate what your child loves into the subject they are struggling with, and making the assignments fun and exciting.
I have tutored 4-8 grades some 11 grades and help a few college students with essays and math.
Have a 30 minute to an hour conversation with the tutor to see whether you like the way they are teaching you or the way you are learning.
I have been using their favorite sports, food, and shows to have a better learning experience.
