About Marlia
I have a lot of experience editing essays, especially at the collegiate level. I love helping students craft their writing to the fullest potential. I work dilligently and comb through every aspect of writing to help students discover their own styles.
I am currently a student at the University of Maryland, College Park, a member of the Arts and Humanities College. My essay writing skills have proven to be effective as I've received many acceptances and helped other students get into other institutions.
I started tutoring through my high school organizations like National English Honor Society or mentorship groups. My first official paid tutoring experience was with ESOL students in elementary school who elected to receive supplemental tutoring services.
I've taught many students before in various departments primarily music and English. Throughout high school, I tutored students privately in English and also with tutoring organizations.

Regarding AP English work or English in general, teaching straight from the rubric is often the best guidance for success in a class.
