Experience:
I was a Peer Mentor for Suffolk County Community College for three years. I helped college students not only navigate around campus , but through their academics as well ! English has always been a favorite subject of mine since I was 6 years old. I'm currently a senior at SUNY College at Old Westbury. My major is Childhood Education (k-6) . I'm also a (seasonal) Special Needs Camp Counselor . I have an associates degree in Liberal Arts/ Child Study.

I love working with new students . First, I like to begin our process with an "all about me" assignment or icebreaker activity . It's important for teachers/tutors to get to know their students learning styles in order to reach the needs of their students for them to be successful.

The most recent event that I'm absolutely fond of is getting hired as a special needs camp counselor (May 2021) . I' worked the last two respite shifts for the spring season. Already, my campers have such an impact on me and I love them with all my heart.
