About Carissa
I am a Middle School Education major at Truett McConnell University. I am in my junior year working towards my BSE. I specialize in English and History.
Immediately after high school, I attended North Ga Tech for Early Childhood for 1 1/2 years. It was there I realized my love for middle schoolers which causes me to change majors as well as institutions. While attending college, I have held several jobs where I can gain experience working with children. I have worked at two daycares as well as Mount Yonah Elementary School where I was a paraprofessional.
It has always been a calling. When I was in the first grade, I just knew I would grow up to be a teacher. That was my mindset all throughout my childhood and through early adolescence.
I am currently studying Middle School Education at Truett McConnell University.
