About Cassie
I have an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a BA in Linguistics with an empahsis in American Sign Language (ASL). I received an award for my thesis/project writing abilities during my MA coursework. I was complimented by my professors on my writing on many occasions.
I have taught advanced writing and reading courses at BYU and UVU. My students gave positive feedback about my writing courses saying my class was difficult, but worthwhile. I love to edit essays and I give thorough feedback. To me, editing essays is more than grammar and spelling. I want to help you improve your writing voice and structure.
I prefer to edit essays remotely and send detailed feedback to you via email. I use a particular editing system and will provide you with a key. I am happy to meet over the phone or Zoom to answer ANY and ALL questions you have regarding my feedback. I am willing to meet in person for an extra fee.
I started teaching at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University in the English Language Learning program and English Langauge Center, respectively.
