About Elaine
I started tutoring in middle school as part of the National Junior Honors Society and continued throughout high school until I joined Bloom Tutoring Company.
I have been a tutor for the past two years with Bloom Tutoring Company teaching English as a second language to Spanish speaking student. I have also provided tutoring sessions in writing essays, middle school and high school math, basic sciences and history.

I like to assess the student and work through a variety of exercises that show me their strengths and weaknesses. After I do this, I adjust my lessons plans to their needs and what I think should be worked on first.
I have worked with students learning English whose first language is Spanish, students who only know English, and students with learning disabilities.
