About Julie
I am a masters-level English student and a book publishing professional. I have experience tutoring students of all academic backgrounds in all subjects English, including standard English and literature classes, reading comprehension, creative writing, essay writing, copyediting and proofreading, grammar, study skills and AP English.
I also have experience working in Editorial at literary agencies and "Big 5" publishing houses such as Simon & Schuster and Hachette.
During my undergraduate years as a Literature major I was the only student to earn the Michael O'Laughlin Memorial Award for excellence in literary studies.
I have successfully completed and received top scores on both the AP Literature and AP Language & Composition exams.
My junior year of college I was the TA (teaching assistant) for an upper-level literature course. Because of my performance there, I was reccommended to work at my college's Learning Center where I tutored students of all academic backgrounds in subjects including English, Literature, Thesis Writing, Creative Writing, study skills and grammar.
