About Rina
Hello, my name is Rina Raudales. My tutoring expertise is in phonics and reading comprehension. I use the Orton -Gillingham teaching approach to help struggling readers. It is a powerful multi-sensory approach to reading and spelling. Lessons involve a visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning.
The OG method helps struggling readers and those with dyslexia and other learning challenges.
Teaching is my passion. I mostly enjoy seeing the child's progress in reading and writing. It is an essential skill children must learn in order to be successful in school.
I have a BA in Speech Communications and Psychology. Also, Orton-Gillingham trained with ample experience working with children.
