About Daryn
I am a graduate student at Weber State University. I have a Bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in Creatie Writing.
I've tutored English and writing for five years, along with editing and writing for WSU's campus newspaper. I have tutored for the ACT for five years. My students jump an average of five points on the Reading section and an average of six points on the Writing section after our tutoring sessions.
I've won four national awards from the Society of Professional Journalists for my writing. I can tutor in essay writing, creative writing, test prep, and more.
I have loved English and writing since I was young, and my passion for our language multiplies when I get to help others. I find tutoring exciting and fulfilling.
I am CRLA certified and have worked as a tutor at Weber State University for five years. I also worked as an editor and writer for WSU's campus newspaper, where I trained and supported student reporters.
