About Maryanne
My business is centered on the principles of individual learning and is focused on helping maintain and advance your creativity through english.
A study done by George Land tested children every 5 years from age 5 to age 15. The 5 year olds tested 98% creative genius, by age 15, only 2% were considered creative geniuses. This study proved that creativity is unlearned through school.
People lose their individuality and are forced to conform to a standard that is not unique to them. My philosophy about tutoring is to bring individuality and personalized education back into education.

I like to get to know the student first to understand their typical struggles and best practices when studying. I like to know what they find fun.
Then I assess what they will be working on in school this year and help them make a study plan for getting their work done on time with time for review.
I like to let the student's needs appear naturally so that they know I hear them and am tailoring my service to suit their needs rather than making them do something they do not like.
