About Alaysha
I am a rising senior at Vandebilt University. I have studied sociology and creative writing for years. I have received honors and awards for essays and poems I have written. Additionally, I have maintain high performance in my areas of study that can be seen through my 3.5 GPA. I have also served as a managing editor of a college newspaper.

I am currently a student at Vanderbilt University; Therefore, I have completed years of edcuation in my areas of study. Outside of school, I have worked with students through Duke TIP summer program for gifted students and through individual sessions with students throughout high school and college.

New students will be greeted and asked to discuss their learning style, work ethic, and concerns. This will give me an opporunitnity to cultivate my tutoring style to the student's needs to ensure that the help is well received and leaves the student with confidence in their abilities and leraning. Then, I will ask student's to identify what they need assistance with and what they will like to learn. After this information is gained, the student and I will construct a plan for their tutoring session(s).
