About Melissa
I take the time to not only assess each student and what their goals are, but also carefully consider their learning styles, temperament, and challenges.
I enjoy getting to know each student, and discovering their interests and their strengths.
I have a BA in Sociology. I am a certified substitute teacher in Arizona. I have worked as a special education teacher and a reading intervention tutor. I am certified in Spalding using Orton-Gillingham methods. Also, I have experience as an elementary homeschooling teacher.
