About Ronda
I spend as much time needed to help the student with English Reading, Writing, and Grammar. I have three years experience helping out all age groups with their English education, and I have an ESL (English as a Second Language) and an ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading) certificate.
I love teaching all aspects of the English language, and I enjoy helping others and seeing the smiles on the students faces when they are learning.
I know that my educational strength is all aspects of the English language, and I also know that I have patience and a passion for helping others with their educational goals.
Finding out what the student's English education needs are, how they want to learn English, creating the proper lesson plans, and making sure they learn what I set out to teach that specific student gives me great satisfaction at the end of every teaching day.
I have certificates for teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) and ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading).
I have experience teaching and tutoring ESL to middle school, high school, and adult students. I also have experience tutoring students of all ages - Reading (phonics, sight words, building vocabulary, comprehension), Writing (essays and research papers) and Grammar (grammar terms, figures of speech, proper sentence structure).

First, I like to establish a relationship with the student and find out what their needs are related to strengthening their English learning skills whether it be Reading, Writing, Grammar, etc.
I also like to find out what the student's preference is for learning. For example, some students learn best visually (using images and pictures) or verbally (using words in both speech and writing).
After I receive this information, I will create the appropriate lesson plans needed to teach the student.
I have worked with ESL (English as a Second Language) students (adolescents and adults) that all have different types of cultural backgrounds, and also tutored all aspects of the English language to the same types of students as well.
I would advise the student to make sure that the teacher can attend to all of their English educational needs and is able to create the appropriate lesson plan that caters to their specific learning needs. This teacher should have patience and spend as much time needed to fulfill the student's English educational goals.
Before school ended this year (2018), I helped a high school student with how to correct the essay format, sentence stucture and research involving the student's argumentive subject type essay. Their grade turned out to be outstanding for the work performed on this essay.
The student did the hard work, and at the same time, I was happy that I was able to help this student out to improve the outcome for the essay.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The student needs to think through what their English needs are. For example, is it to improve Reading (phonics, sight words, building vocabulary, and/or comprehension), Writing (essays or research papers), Grammar (grammar terms, figures of speech, proper sentence structure) or all of the above.
The student also needs to think about the best way that they can learn so the appropriate lesson plan can be created.
