About Elliott

As a soccer coach, I have worked with all ages, backgrounds, and levels. With this kind of diversity, I have learned how to quickly assess players, address their strengths and weakness, and apply the necessary methods and tools to enhance their game. As a result, these experiences have helped me become a better tutor and teacher for the students I work with. Although not the exact same, I approach my students as I do with my players and clients as a coach; open-minded, patient, observant, and positively correct and give feedback when necessary.

I have always enjoyed teaching and helping students because I thoroughly enjoy watching the student begin to understand the concepts I am communicating. Moreover, as the students learn, I also learn. I do not have all the answers, and I am learning each session as the student is. This makes the sessions enjoyable and fun because I am improving my teaching abilities, as well as the students, ultimately continuing to refine my strategies giving the student a higher quality learning experience each session.

When meeting a new student, I like to get to know them first and understand their goals for our sessions. I try to understand how they prefer to learn, and their strengths and weaknesses. In the first session, this period is an excellent time to evaluate where the student is, and develop a plan based on their ability and the goals they intend to achieve.
