About Nori
My passion and professional experiences are centered around the academic discipline of Language Arts. I have more than twenty years of experience teaching American and British Literature, Reading Strategies and Skills, Academic Vocabulary with an emphasis on SAT words, and Writing Strategies and Techniques for Descriptive, Expository, Persuasive, and Narrative texts. My educational background reflects degrees and certificates in English, Reading, and ESL instruction for K-12 students.
Most recently, I have been working online and teaching Writing Strategies and Skills for a platform called Outschool. When teaching Writing or Reading skills, I have pre-made lessons that have helped students to gain success in these areas. I inform students of approximately 5 strategies that are needed to construct each genre or type of writing. Students will also complete a practice essay together with me, and I will provide meaningful feedback that will allow you to eliminate future errors. You will be able to locate the classes I teach on the above platform and peruse my ratings and reviews that clearly identify my talents in the area of writing when you access this site. I am listed under Ms. Nori.
Additionally, I enjoy teaching reading strategies and skills to enable students to produce better test scores.
