About Jason
My name is Jason Goodman and I am a graduate from Emory University. In addition to graduating with highest honors in History and Economics, I received top grades in courses of all disciplines and have experience working with students of all grade levels. I also have significant experience in college admissions and can provide the necessary assistance to bolster your application or improve your essays. My academic and professional experience will allow me to help you succeed in whatever subject you need help in!
I love working with students! Getting to know each and every student and their passions and helping mentor them through periods of growth brings me such joy. I find that my skill connecting with young people of all ages helps me develop strong relationships with students that become necessary in the tutoring process. I love watching students grow personally and academically right before my eyes.
I currently work as an executive functioning tutor in Los Angeles, CA. I have multiple clients who require help in all subject areas.
Last year, I was an Admission Advisor at Emory University. I spent my time reading thousands of college applications and admitting / denying students. This experience gave me inside access to the college admission process and I have used this to advise students in their own college application process.

I like to meet students and understand what type of help they need. Then I can develop a plan of attack and see the best way to maximize results. That might be multiple sessions a week or longer sessions once a week. It all depends on the student. The most important thing is that this is a collaborative processs that involves the student and the parent/guardian and me.
I have worked with all types of students- middle schoolers and high schoolers- who need help in all subject areas.
