About Coby
I have degrees in Professional Writing, English, & Political Science. I worked as a writing tutor for three years, helping students on all types of writing work, specializing in college application essays and resume writing. I also currently work in university recruiter and have an inside knowledge of how a reader looks at a college application. I am also trained in ESL tutoring and English language teaching. I genuinely enjoy helping people with their writing and their English langauge skills! I also have a degree in political science, and can tutor in government studies or related course work as well.
I just genuinly enjoy writing and helping others write. I started doing it years ago, and then started doing it for a job, and now I've moved into something else but would like to keep it up.
I was a student, and started tutoring other students, and found I had a real passion for teaching.

I enjoy helping a student find their way to answer. I also think it's important to help students understand why something is the way it is, rather than just giving them the answer. I find that is especially true for writing and learning English as a second language.
