About Elana
I graduated from Fordham University in 2017 with a degree in Political Science and as a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, the national political science honor society.
My particular strengths lie in writing, editing, literature, history, government, and test prep, but I have a strong record of academic achievement across many subjects and particularly for middle school and younger aged clients, I would certainly be able to discuss accommodating a wide variety of academic needs.
I have experience with tutoring, editing, and writing help both formally and informally. Since high school I have regularly been helping friends and others with editing and writing. I have tutored students in writing and English as well as with general homework help, including in college when I volunteered for a nonprofit mentoring and tutoring program which gave me the opportunity to strengthen my tutoring skills by regularly working with students one-on-one.
I am a patient and empathetic person who will work to meet the needs of my clients wherever you/they are. I am deeply passionate about finding ways to use my skill sets to help others by giving them the tools they need to succeed, and I will work tirelessly to find creative solutions to help you meet your academic/personal goals.
