About Daniel

I am committed to teaching ESL students. Currently I teach over 70 ESL students ranging from 4 to 17 years old. I can design lessons around your specific needs. I hold a BS from UCLA, an MBA, and I am TEFL certified.

I love spending time listening to my students, understand their goals, and work together towards achieving the goal they set. It is rewarding to see the progress my students are making.

I taught finance and investments to clients when I worked at USAA from 2008. I moved to Asia in 2017 and became certified to teach English as a second langauge. I was hired by ILA and now teach close to 100 students from ages 4 to 17

I am an English teacher currently teaching at ILA. I have a TEFL Certification and graduated fromm UCLA and then Washington University in St. Louis. Every month I attend workshops to stay current with the latest teaching methods.

About the lesson

We will spend an initial, no fee, 15-20 minute session where I will assess your current ability and also understand what you are looking to accomplish. I will then design a course outline for you. After you accept the program, we will schedule 45-minute to 1 hour sessions. Your initial payment will cover the first 5 hours.

I work with young learners to establish English foundation and learn new vocabulary. I work with older children to prepare them for standardized testing which will determine their ability to attend universities or gain employment abroad (in America).

It depends on what you are looking to accomplish. Expanding your vocabulary can be done through reading. However, pronunciation and listening is best done with a native speaker, especially from a country that you want to live in.
