About Anita

Before retiring, I was an award-winning writer in Chicago and DC. I've written TV commercials for the world's largest ad agency, plus speeches and op-eds for members of Congress and CEOs, and a wide range of material for large DC associations. I'm also a licensed attorney.
Whether you're writing your college essay or need to improve your writing skills at work, I specialize in helping older teens through adults become more polished & effective writers.

Ms. Anita is not a regular tutor you would find. She differentiates from other tutors on two aspects. First, she is really passionate about teaching. Ms. Anita would investigate the best way and material to teach the students and spend a lot of time outside the classes thinking and implement it. She designs the homework for my son and reminds him if he does not submit on time. Second, Ms. Anita really cares about her students and think from their perspective. It shows in her detailed editing of my son's essays, in her emails about assignments and in her tone when she is teaching.
