About Emily
Hi! My name is Emily and I am a sophomore at Miami University studying Political Science. I love seeing how students can grow academically and improve over periods of time. I have been tutoring for approximately two years now in a variety of subjects, however I am most proficient in essay writing and revising. I help students by creating a detailed plan to write essays, to eventually leave students with the skills to do so by themselves as they get older. The Political Science department at Miami University is very writing intensive, and within the department I have a 4.0 GPA. I understand the struggles and hardships of being a student and feeling confused, unassured, or weak when writing essays. Building confidence is a large part to helping students effectively write, and I hope to have a great, positive impact on them!
