About Kay
I'm a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer with 9 years of experience and I have a MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Finance. I previously tutored middle school children in-person in Math, Science and English during the summers. I am also a certified ESL instructor and I currently tutor adults and children in different countries (mainly in Asia) looking to improve their English. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Personal Finance. In my experience tutoring students, we always seem to have the most fun, but the classes are life-changing at the same time. I am a firm proponent of education; believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.

I'm on a mission to educate as many people as I can about home buying and personal finance. It’s very rewarding for me to walk my clients through the home buying process from the pre-approval to the closing table, but I've noticed that there's still a lot of details in the process that clients are not aware of and/or prepared for upfront. Preparation is very important during the mortgage loan process. That is why I became a coach.
I'm also seeing that some people who want to get into the mortgage industry are struggling with the NMLS license testing. So, I'm always excited to provide weekly tutoring sessions to clients in preparation of the test.
I have 9 years of experience in the mortgage industry and I have a MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Finance. I was able to pass the NMLS test on my first try.
