About Julie
Professional flutist with thirty years of experience teaching privately and in the Syracuse City Schools. I can teach beginners starting in 4th grade up to advanced students. I love working with students toreach goals such as NYSSMA solos, auditions, and preparing for college. My undergraduate was in classical flute at the College of Performing Arts in Graz, Austria and my masters in music educationd from Syracuse University. Co-founder of the group "Cosi fan Donne", guest performer of Wega Quartett and the "Aphrodite Ensemble", performed in the CNY Flute Choir many years. My passion is co-creating music and performances.
I love hearing and diving into what makes music.
I have taught beginners privately on flute for over thirty years both in Austria and the States. Long time band director in the city schools and performance major in Europe with years of experience.
