About Aliya

As a dedicated Psychology undergraduate at Taylor’s University with a passion for teaching, I am committed to helping students achieve their full potential in English. With a background in both psychology and language learning, I understand how to create a supportive and motivating environment for my students. I focus on building both language skills and confidence, ensuring that students not only understand the material but feel empowered to use it effectively. I bring patience, professionalism, and personalized strategies to every lesson. My approach is backed by experience in tutoring high school and university students, and I tailor each session to the individual's unique learning style and goals. Whether you’re looking to improve academic writing, conversational fluency, or overall comprehension, you can expect a structured, interactive, and results-driven approach in my classes. With clear communication, a focus on progress, and a deep understanding of the learning process, I am confident that I can guide you toward success. I maintain a high standard of professionalism, punctuality, and commitment to each student, ensuring that you feel supported and confident every step of the way. I focus on a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to each student's needs and learning style. I use a combination of interactive activities, real-life examples, and structured grammar and vocabulary exercises to build language skills in a practical, engaging way. My teaching incorporates discussion-based learning, where students actively participate in conversations to improve their speaking and comprehension abilities. I emphasize critical thinking and encourage students to express their ideas confidently. Each lesson typically begins with a review of previously covered material, followed by introducing new concepts in reading, writing, listening, or speaking, depending on the student’s goals. I also provide feedback and corrections in real-time to reinforce learning and ensure progress.
