Experienced tutor in Golf in Acton, John offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Working with John was amazing. I have enjoyed golf for many years, but recognized my game was not improving so I signed up for a (very affordable) series of lessons with John. John thoughtfully and methodically reviewed the fundamentals of driving, pitching and putting. The improvements were instantaneous. John has a very kind, encouraging and occasionally humorous approach to providing guidance. Whenever I play golf going forward, I expect to hear his voice in my head saying, “That wasn’t ALL bad.” If your playing skills have plateaued, or you are just starting out, I highly recommend signing up for some lessons with John. You won’t regret it.

Coach John really knows his stuff. He was able to help me fix certain components of my swing while also explaining why I should fix certain pieces and what those fixes will do to the actual ball flight. By explaining to me not only what to do but why, I am able to fully understand the swing and then I am able to work on it while I am on my own as well.
John is super friendly and one of the best coaches I have ever worked with. Look forward to working with him again.

John is a fantastic coach. He's thoughtful and explains everything very well.

John was very thorough in explaining various techniques and drills. His friendly upbeat attitude made it easy to learn from. I would easily recommend him to anybody looking for a coach.

I have played golf for many years but always struggled to get consistency in my game. I was reluctant to take lessons because I didn't want to start all over but now I wish I did it sooner. Coach John really helped me with all areas of my golf game. I started with a 5 lesson package and John was able to analyze my swing and explain to me the areas to change and concentrate on to improve my swing. With John's help, not only am I able to more consistently make good contact but John has taught me how to diagnose issues I am having. I ended up signing up for a second 5 lesson package because I saw such good results and was gaining confidence in my game. I highly recommend Coach John.

Coach John is a very experienced coach. He can instruct you from your own characteristic. I learned a lot from him and have got a good effect. If you want to find a coach, Please remember John.

Coach John was great! He was able to notice little things in my swing that previous coaches did not. He gave me many valuable drills to hold me over through the winter months. Can't wait for the weather to turn to book another session!

Coach John did an excellent job in our training session. He is friendly and comfortable to work with. I have taken lessons from other coaches' before and he gave me instruction in areas not previously mentioned. In a short time he made adjustments to my swing that showed instant results..

I had a great introductory lesson with John! He really broke down the basics for me in a way that I could understand and made a lot of great corrections to my swing. I look forward to having further sessions with him!

I am just beginning to play golf and my lessons with John was a great place to start. John is an awesome coach who made me feel at ease even though I was just learning. I really liked how we went through the basics (from the differences between clubs to the rules of the game). He gave me great feedback every lesson. The best thing about John is he teaches you how to diagnose a problem. For example, if I completely sliced the ball, he told me why I did that (from my form to the contact made on the ball) and how to adjust to fix it. John also gave me easy, repeatable tools to improve my chipping and putting. He also gives good advice on easy exercises to do at home that really improved my game. I highly recommend John as a couch. I just started golfing this summer and I am already able to play 18 holes with my parents who have been playing for a while now.
