Golf is an extremely difficult game to play. Seeing someone that truely has a passion to learn the game, or players who want to inhance thier skills We teach the science of the game. Swing plane In degrees, path,, face to path, attack angles all in degrees. I like students understanding the mechanics of a good golf swing. Understanding how a club should perform and why. 57 years playing the game and numerous years teaching, I enjoy helping players get to a position where they can truly enjoy the game. Also nothing like seeing clients hit really good golf shots, especially when they put in the work.

I believe a good instructor can find that button, when pressed things come together , and a better golf game is in your immediate future.

Not all players can teach, not all teachers can play, in my case I do both extremely well.

My farther put a golf club in my hand at the age of 5 and I never set it down. Golf was in my DNA. As a junior played in the FUTURE MASTERS.. Played high school and collegent golf..USGA member. Played competitively 3 years. Also played on Louisiana Scratch Tour.

20 years of teaching experience, working with upper tiered players.

Extremely knowledgeable of the mechanics of a golf swing. Goal is to make good players better and really good players competitive at all levels.

In addition to personalized instruction, we support that visually with graphics and video to completely understand your swing, and target the changes that will get you immediate results.

About the lesson

You need the ability to assess your clients capabilities. Starting points varies with players talent level. Being able to accuately assess a players capibilty and skill level will allow me to create a starting point. Communication is essential to move the process forward. Knowing various stance, grip and swing plane angles, will allow us to speak apples to apples and move the process forward netting immediate results. Some teachers think they have to reinvent the wheel. I like, if it is not broke, don't fix it. We want you to do what you do best, just better. Mastering fundamentals for the beginner and shot making techniques for the advanced player, you will get better and process will be continuous. If you want to improve and visually see the needed changes to do so, Gryphon Golf.is your instructor.

All levels, beginners thru talented players. Even really good players, an outside eye is always helpful. General instruction for the beginner to intermediate. Advanced shot making techniques for the experience player I have worked with client targeting chipping, short game, long irons, woods and putting. I have worked with players of multiple skill levels on shot making techniques. Course management, course club selection.

I would recommend speaking with potential Instructors. Do not believe you can assess or determine whether an instructor is the right fit via email. Communication is instrumental in the process of instruction, speaking to your potential instructor can determine if they can target your specific needs.

There are 3 clients I have been working with,. When they attend thier next lesson, listening to them talk about and describe the golf shots, the really good golf shots they hit. We are doing something right.

Also have taken clients on a play lesson, enjoy playing with clients. Also get to see first hand how much they have improved.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
For beginners what is thier interest level. Are you in a position to make a investment in equipment.

For the intermediate to the good player, even the really good players. Thier needs are predicated by what they see on the golf course. Conveying that information to an instructor will help in determining what should be changed or what can be changed

Perfect! Awesome instructor!!! Arthur’s coaching was so much more than I expected!!! He is full of knowledge that not many would know and when he explains in detail your brain and body will understand more about golf and what controls what. By the end of my first session I was driving the ball towards my targets. Arthur had me address and set up, take a practice swing. He immediately knew what my ball flight was. From one swing, he knew the adjustments to make. Adjusted my grip, address and stance. Hit the ball better today than I have ever hit it. Can't wait for my next lesson.
