About Mike
I am passionate about my art and creativity, it is my goal to help students find what is unique about themselves and explore their creative personality.
Sharing knowledge and seeing artists' growth as they learn new things and excitemnt about their own playing and artistry.
I grew up in a musical family household and started my musical education at an early age. I started teaching guitar lessons as a side income in high school and more seriously while I was in college college and after graduating.

All lessons start with an interview process and a getting know period to assess new student's skill level, intersts, and goals. Then source materials are recommended, technical exercises assigned and lesson plan is tailored to meet those goals.
I have worked with beginners, college preparation, hobbyists, professionals of all levels, and everyone in between.
Spend as much time playing guitar as you can and keep a list of questions you have about the guitar and music. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I find some of the better lessons and direction of studies come from student directed curiosity.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think about your current time devoted to playing, studying, and listening to music, what your favorite records are, favorite guitarists, guitars, etc. This will help set you in your educational direction.
