I started taking lessons from him 14 years ago when he was a student at Berkeley College of Music and we are still going strong today. He has not only taught me the fundamentals of physically playing the drums, but has gone deeper and taught me how to think about drumming and how to approach rhythm in general. He’s provided a good foundation that I have been able to build on, and it’s been great having his guidance along the way.
