About Hillary
Welcome to my studio! I'm Caitie, it's a pleasure to meet you.
I've been a private music instructor for over twenty years. I specialize in percussion/drums, guitar, bass, ukulele, songwriting, and music theory. I received my bachelor's in Music Business in 2010, and since then I have toured all over the United States and internationally in various bands/ensembles. One of the things I find to be my super power as an instructor is that I will ALWAYS strive to teach students in their preferred learning method. Different approaches are usually required from student to student to be effective. If there is a concept or technique you're struggling to grasp, I'll find a way to make it click for you. As an instructor, I live for the "light bulb" moments, as they are the precursor to major victories in learning an instrument!
