About Amanda
Over the years of being a guitar player I have had a few students.
I have been playing for 15+ years, I studied jazz guitar ath the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, toured as lead guitarist for Tops in Blue, an Air Force band and recently graduated from Baruch College with a BA in Music Business.

First I like to see what you're interested in playing. What types of music you listen to and what you want to get out of playing guitar

Figure out what your goals are and what you want to learn. And be specific.
I actually run a monthly open mic/jam in NYC. I love collaborations with musicians on the spot so I create a safe space for improvisers, musicians, singers and rappers to showcase thier talents.

How much you want to practice. Give yourself enough time to practice inbetween lessons so that you can improve, otherwise you may overpay for lessons.
