About Vaughn
Teaching music is an art form. There are many incredible guitarists, and even some that are more technically gifted than your average guitar instructor. In the end, finding your ideal instructor is all about the right fit for you. At Chung Music Academy, we define your goals and give you flexible timelines with the highest quality instruction to help you accomplish them.
I genuinely enjoy being a part of helping my students reach their musical dreams and beyond.
I have been playing guitar for over 15 years, and took formal lessons from some of the most incredible instructors in Houston. I have a background in music theory and guitar specific disciplines via HCC and the University of Houston.

I am very enthusiastic about meeting the defined goals of each and every student and meticulously adjust according to your needs. I am driven to deliver accessible music theory, reliable technique, improvisation tools, and unlocking your inner talents for showcasing your unique musicial expression. For my efforts, Thumbtack has awarded me their “Top Pro” award for 4 consecutive years. I feel the same way I felt about music the moment I picked it up an instrument 15 years ago. The first few chords, the first song you perfectly nail down, and all the way to creating original compositions. Each and every moment is beautiful in this journey! There is always something new to learn in order to replicate that special feeling we strive for, so I love watching my students grow and plant the seeds of a newfound passion. My mission in helping you reach your goals is one of the best things I could ever experience as an educator. Helping my students accomplish their goals and fulfill their dreams is the most empowering feeling in the world.
