About Christopher
I’m a singer songwriter/bassist. I studied composition, and Double bass performance. I’ve recorded 7 albums.
ive toured and played many styles of music, Tango, bossa, tumbau, big band, classical. I studied contemporary voice, and classical voice. I currently study music theory and composition. I perform with many groups in the greater puget sound.
My instructor passed a few of his students on to me, stating that if I’m going to learn more about the instrument, I need to teach.
I studied Music Thoery at Bellevue college. I have a focus on Double bass performance. I took lab bands and choir. And private instruction.

My typical process is finding out what instruments they play. What interests them in music. How long they’ve played. Find out how much theory they’ve studied, or If they’re studying music theory. Who is their favorite musician. What shows they’ve seen, and where. What styles and songs they like. What sports they like? Do they read?
Then, give them a general history on how long I’ve played, what instruments I like and Play. What shows I’ve Seen and where. Basically, to introduce myself.
mainly High school and Jr high.
Some advice I would give is, be sure that you understand when you commit to learning, the only way the concept come to life is through practice.
