About Candace
As a history and government major, loving the subjects since childhood I help students make relevant connections in their social studies classes, while also helping them enjoy the subjects.
Having taught and tutored for the last 7 years I understand how to connect with students and help them identify why they are struggling, and perfect their skills like studying, critical reading, and writing to not only excel in social studies but across all their subjects areas.
I love being able to help students make connections and see relevance in the work they are doing. Seeing a student finally have something "click" or being able to feel more confident in themselves as a learner is what makes this work worthwhile.
