I would need to learn the student's learning style. In order to do that, I have a simple assessment to determine the particular learning style. I would then need to know my student's goals. I will then assess the student's background knowledge using a formative assessment. I will then use all this information to create a custimized curriculum to assist the student to accomplish their goals and excel in the chosen topic.
I have worked with a multitude of students and am comfortable working with any student. I am well trained in Special Education as well as ESOL. I have worked with students that have behavior issues as well as GATE students.
