About Mandy
Helping horse owners enjoy their horses! I hold two certifications through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International: Advanced Level Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, & Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. Also certified though the Certification Board of Equine Interaction Professionals, and licensed as a Registered Nurse. Many years of experience teaching new riders and riding instructors, as well as supervising equestrian facility operations and programs. I received a PATH regional "Instructor of the Year" award in 2018, and two of my adult students have garnered PATH "Rider of the Year" awards.
I specialize in supporting new or returning horse owners to partner safely with their horses, both "on the ground" and "in the saddle" - finding ways to have fun, and minimize anxiety or worry! Am happy to work with both non-gaited and gaited horses, as well as owners that may have health issues that impact their riding.
