About Nancy
I get such pleasure out of taking a new or novice horse person into the world of horses, teaching them every aspect of horse education and communication.
I teach you all the ways horses communicate, first with emotional frequencies and telepathy, followed by behavior. Then, I teach you to communicate with them with intentional emotional energy and behavior.
I teach you the Friendship Dance, and share with you how know that you have been invited to get on the back of a horse, to know that the horse will keep you safe as a friend, and not as a predator climbing on.
I teach you about safe behavior on the ground and what behaviors your horse considers rude and discourteous, which reflects in your horse's attitude, whether on the ground, or on its back.
Every six seconds someone in this country goes to the ER with a horse injury and every three days someone dies. Most of those consider themselves "horse people", including long time enthusiasts, or ameteur or professional competitors and even trainers. What are they missing in their horse handling skills to create dangerous moments when their horse intentionally injures them or just has no interest in keeping them safe?
They are missing Friendship TrainingTM.
I have fifty years of equine experience, including handling, training, and showing. I train horses, donkeys, mules, zebras, zorses and zonkeys. Most of all, I train people to communicate with their animals with kindness and courtesy, giving the equines the opportunity for their natural intelligence and curiosity to shine through while building a best friendship with their owner.
Horses are polite and courteous and rarely need to display aggressuve, dominant behavior because of all the communication that goes ahead of that final behavior. When you train by leading with dominance you are simply force training the animal, leading to creating a horse that does not feel a kinship with you, that simply feels bullied, and it will shut down any feelings of kinship or bonding and simply become a robot, doing your will, until the day that by circumstance or event the horse needs to make a decision whereby it saves itself to your detriment or feels a responsibiluty to save you because of the friendship bond you have created with it. Or worse, it decides this is the day that it can truly let you know that it will not be bullied any longer, and severely injures you intentionally.
Before anyone gets on a horse, Friendship TrainingTM should be a prerequisite for a solid, best friend relationship between you and that 1000 pound breathing, thinking, intelligent, emotional horsepower.

I give three day clinics, 5 day clinics, private or group, and give one on one training, just for you, or with you and your equine, either at our facility or at yours. Travel time and fuel useage will be added to your fee. Typical training time for one on one is a two hour session.
