About Ashton
The Japanese language is one that I have loved studying over the past 5 years. I understand the challenges one may have when first learning it, and that is why I enjoy helping others navigate the early complexities of it, as well as to build a good foundation for language aquisition.
I studied Japanese at Western Carolina University and Osaka Kyoiku University, and I have been tutoring Japanese for a year now. I am a class C certified tutor and the 2020-2021 Dean's Scholar award recipient for the World Language Department.
I have a very flexible schedule. Also, I usually work online, so distance is not an issue.
I enjoy being able to help others develop their skills in Japanese and understand another culture.
