About Kevin
My perspective is informed by conservative Christian values while always seeking innovative ways to get better. I am interested in values, principles, ethics, and worldview, while studying best practices and information on organizational culture, strengths, personal and professional well-being. In terms of my own personal journey, I have been blessed to move from multiple life challenges early in life, to earning a Master's Degree, having a healthy marriage of 18 years, two wonderful kids, and being the Co-Owner of a successful therapy and coaching practice. I understand the mindset and practices that it takes to succeed.
My training and experiences stand at a unique intersection: I have a Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, and Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Sociology. I am an ordained pastor who served in a mega church for 7 years, developing innovative initiatives like the multisite strategy and execution and online campus. I have lead hundreds of people in my ministry work and understand healthy dynamics for an individual, couples, families, and organizations.
I truly love help people move from a place of "good" in life, to being great, having a life of meaning, impact, and success that matters.
Through my personal, educational and professional experiences, I have a strong passion to help others on their journeys of life. I have been personally mentored by a number of individuals over the years, whether spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and/ or professionally, and have found it to be of immense value.
Concerning organizations, I have seen the powerful impacts of leadership on the lives of those they lead. Whether positive or negative, leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and level of emotional intelligence has a profound impact on the workplace culture and the lives of those therein. This has a ripple effect on those individuals, their marriages, and their families.
I have a certifcation in Executive and Organizational Coaching from Light University/ The American Association of Christian Counseling. I also received training in executive and leadership coaching with The College of Executive Coaching. I have an undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with a minor in Sociology. My Master's Degree is in Marriage & Family Therapy, which is based on Systems Thinking, the bedrock of understanding interpersonal dynamics (whether in the family or organization). I am an ordained pastor and served on staff at a mega church for a number of years. My roles there included helping to lead the multisite initiative, the online campus, and leading over 80 volunteers who led over 300 volunteers. I am the Co-Owner of Summit Wellness Centers, PLLC.

I seek to understand the client's goals for his or her work together. We will then work through a process of identifying options and obstacles to achieving those goals. Lastly, we will regularly move towards making decisions based on our work concerning the above. With individuals I enjoy helping him or her clarity his/ her vision and values for life, strengths and giftings, and how to craft a pathway accordingly. With leaders and teams I seek to help them to understand how to capitalize on their collective strengths, grow in research-based leadership qualities, and increase effective communication and conflict resolution.
Concerning individuals, I have experience helping people to develop healthy habits in their lives, setting and achieving goals, creating a structure in one's life that is in sync with one's deepest values, and navigating complex professional dynamics.
With organizations, I have helped teams and individuals to develop their leadership qualities, ability to capitalize on their strengths as a team, living more in sync with organizational values, and communication and conflict resolution.
Make sure that he/ she not only has training as a coach, but personal and professional experiences achieving in his/ her own life. Look for someone who can not only impress with charisma and visionary language, but someone who understands that much of success is in the everyday disciplines of hard work, perseverance, and tenacity.

Details
For individuals, my standard fee is $100 per 55 minute session and $60 per 30 minute session. Plans for organizational/ team consulting will be discussed with the executive/ sponsor/ company contact and the coach. The coach will discuss a proposal that will include a projected time frame for achieving desired results, as well as associated fees. If the client desires certain assessments and/or the coach deems assessments necessary, the additional fees for assessments will be discussed prior to them being given to the client. The meetings may be conducted in person, via phone, or Google Meet. For individual coaching, after the initial evaluative session, I require a 3 month commitment, so that our work can be woven into the fabric of the coaching client's life. After the initial 3 months, the coaching relationship can be renewed on a month to month basis. The monthly program may be cancelled in writing at any time without penalty.
