About Valentina
I am a highly educated and multi-state certified Educator with 12 years of experience working with multiple learner types and ages from Kindergarten to 12th Grade as well as with adults. I am passionate about a positive mindset, a mastery of language and clear communication and will utilize my skills and experience to help you or your child to grow. I am punctual, engaging and professional while also being patient and invested. I offer online tutoring only.
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from New York University (NYU) and my Master of Arts in Adolescent English Education from Fordham University (FU).
I have a New York State Professional Teaching Certification for grades 7-12 in English Literature as well as a NJ Standard English Language Arts Certification for grades K - 12. Lastly, I have a Certificate of Eligibility for Students with Disabilities in New Jersey and teach at a school with 80% Hispanic English Language Learners.
I am eager to meet you and work with you. I have consistently accomplished growth of 80% or more with clients I work with within a year - I look forward to your growth!
I currently charge $45/hour for my services and this price will be locked in for new clients who sign up in the next 30 days. (May 26, 2024 - June 26, 2024).
