About Kylie
I am very passionate about helping people and care about my students' understanding of the concepts. I find that learning and understanding is more important that just passing a test. being able to complete the assignments without much help is my ultimate goal because it will show that the students actually know and can use their knowledge.
I enjoy seeing students confident in themselves and hopeful that they can get the grades they desire and that they can be successful. I enjoy helping people and giving them the tools they need to be a successful student.
I started teaching out of request. My former math teacher asked me to tutor for her when I was a sophomore in high school and have been teaching ever since.
I am a freshmen in college majoring in Mathematics in Education and tutored during high school. I have mainly tutored freshmen in high school who had failed algebra but have also tutored some middle school math students and college math students.

I will see which learning style works best for them and get their base knowledge so that way I know where to start. It is important that they are comfortable with where they are at in their learning at the beginning.
I have worked with many types of students including those that didn't need much of my help but had clarifying questions, those who didn't want my help out of shame, those who missed school and needed to catch up quickly, and those who just didn't understand the concepts. I have worked with students of ages ranging 13-18 but am not restricted to those ages.
Don't be afraid to ask for help! I am very passionate about helping students and meeting you where you are at. I am here to help you and will do my absolute best to meet your needs.

I charge $45 per hour for one student. Each additional student will be $15. On groups of five or more I charge $100 per hour.
