About Jasmine
Deno Math Tutoring was founded to make math easy for students. Our tutors were once students themselves, and math was hard! But looking back, we love where our educations have taken us. Our tutors have all obtained Bachelors of Science degrees and now love math. We have been online tutoring for over two years, and have seen significantly improved results in our students' test results. Seeing grades increase makes our tutors love what they do even more. We offer services in any math level, even college math and SAT exam prep.
I have been helping my brothers with school work almost my entire life and I loved it! I loved playing "school" when I was younger and pretending to be a teacher. When I discovered I loved math, I went into Electrical Engineering and was also a Teaching Assistant at Clarkson University.
I have 6 credits left to earn my Bachelors of Science degree from Clarkson University. I am an Electrical Engineering major with a Mathematics minor. I used to tutor my younger brothers throughout my life, and decided to use my skills to help others. I started online tutoring during the pandemic and decided to continue with it because of my success.

When working with a new student, I like to get to know their learning style first. Everyone learns differently and at a different pace, and trying to force someone to learn a specific way can negatively affect their learning experience. If students like to learn by playing games, I make sure to incorporate memory-enhancing games. If they like a school/teaching setting, I will incorporate that into lessons. I have experience with many different types of students, and being patient with their learning skills is always the best strategy.
I have worked with ages as young as 5 to as old as 20. It doesn't matter if you are an AP student, honors student, college student, or elementary schooler, I have worked with all of the above. I also have experience in teaching students with Autism and ADHD.

I am flexible with my pricing, but I typically charge $40/hour for one student, while increasing by $5 to $10 per additional student. If there is a problem with my pricing, I am willing to negotiate!
