About Jessie
My name is Xiaoqin Fu and I’m originally from China. You can call me Jessie. I work as a software engineer in the company named Ensono. I got my bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics in China. I was a substitute math teacher in a high school for one semester in my hometown in China. I’m very good at taking tests and good at explaining things in a very logical and detailed way. I cannot only explain the concept to you but also show you how to do better in test. I really enjoy tutoring since I was in middle school. My disadvantage may be that I learned all math in Chinese language. I’m not totally familiar with English term. But Math itself is a global language. So I don’t think it will be an issue. I have taken college algebra in US for one semester( due to international student requirements) and I got 100 out of 100 in tests. I think it could be a good idea to give the Chinese learning style a try. If you decide to let me help, please email me the materials ahead time so I can prepare for the tutoring.
I really enjoy the process of explaining things to my classmates and students. I also enjoy helping my classmates and students achiving their goals and building confidence in math.
