About Luis
I've been tutoring for about 6 years. In high school, I would help out students who were falling behind in their studies. The most frequent topics I taught were Algebra 1 & 2 as well as Geometry.
Mathematics has always been a passion of mine. I've studied up to Calculus 2 as I find the problems in math to be interesting and fun to solve. Every challenge is a new opportunity to learn,and math provides many. Tutoring is a great job because I help others overcome the difficulties of math, and some students learn to appreciate the beauty of mathematics.
I started teaching during high school in order to gain volunteer hours.
I'm currently enrolled in college pursuing Mechanical Engineering. This degree deals with many aspects of math, many of which I am familiarized with. My highest knowledge of mathematics is Calculus 2.

I've worked with high school and middle school students, teaching them at different levels. They were all at different levels and were all able to improve their skills. From quick learners, to those less keen of math, I was able to provide my students with understanding of their desired topic.

My son's tutor got was pretty knowledgeable of Algebra 1. My son, who had just entered his freshmen year of high school, was struggling in his algebra course. Through the help of tutor Luis Saenz, he was able to understand the material and pass his class. The price of tutoring was a bit high, but overall the tutoring was a success.
