About Michelle

I am a 12 year vetran teacher certified to teach grades PK-8th. I have experience teaching PK-4th in all subjects, including reading, writing, math, science and social studies. I currently teach 3rd grade students, preparing them to take the State of Texas STAAR test in the spring.

I enjoy watching students grow and develop into lifelong learners.

I started teacher 12 years ago. I started training through Alief ISD Accelerated Certification Program.

I am a 12 year veteran teacher, certified to teach grades PK- 8th grade.

About the lesson

Initial contact is important when working with new students. The student's needs should be clearly defined so that I can advise them if my services would be helpful. Students are expected to attend each session that was agreed on and should always be on time. If a session needs to be cancelled, advance notice is greatly appreciated.

I've worked with students 4-12 years of age.

Make sure that the tutor you choose is a good fit, and not just a good price. Students learn better if they develop a relationship with the person that is teaching them.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure that you know exactly what you are expecting to get from extra tutoring. (i.e. general improvement, passing a specific exam etc.)
