About Paige
I first started teaching my peers during school hours, then moved to after school hours, until I decided to start charging them. I was, at the time, taking both physical schooling and online schools that were more advanced than my regular classes so I was able to teach my peers things that I have learned in my online school.
I am currently in an online college, majoring in English, but in highschool and even now, I tutor kids ages 7-18 on subjects like Psychology, all types of math, AP Biology, Ap Chemistry, AP Physics, Environmental Sciences, all types of English, Some Spanish, and Career Pathways. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience and I'm very good with kids!

I typically need at least a week before the initial meeting in order to create lesson plans for the student. Of course, I will need a rough idea of the student's math abilities, and his/her struggles, but I can do without. I meet with students in libraries, but I mainly do online classes. At times, students do get flustered to video chat, so I also do tutoring via texting. My schedule is wide open and I am available 24/7!
I have worked with all types of students, but I work particularly better with goal-oriented and devoted students. I also have taught many stubborn ones, but the after those courses, they were able to see the sense in school.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Personally, I think nothing! I am very close with my students and I want them to text me any time they need help or assistance. Asking questions is the best way to learn!

Details
My hourly rate is $23CAD/hour, but it depends on the student. There have been several times that I have made arrangements with students outside of my tutoring company. For instance, if he/she were to get an A- on his/her upcoming test, I would waive their fee for a week. It's all in the communication. I'm very flexible with my rate.
