About Marc
Hello, my name is Marc and I started tutoring my fellow students in high school. I got an 800 on my math SAT and for my senior project I was as a teaching assistant for high school calc and statistics. My first official tutoring job was at UConn, where I got my bachelor's in Finance with minors in Math and Economics. There I tutored all levels of math and statistics and expanded to economics and business. After college I started to work with students of all different education levels from elementary to SAT/ ACT test prep all the way to college studies.
Picking me as your tutor means you have someone who has worked with many different types of students both in person and virtually. Teachers are the natural first step in the learning process, but they teach content only one way. When I tutor a subject I have multiple different ways of showing the student how best to understand it. Because of this I'm able to successfully tutor people with all different backgrounds and understandings.
