About Jake
I was valedictorian of my class. I have a perfect 36 on the ACT math section and a perfect 800 on the SAT math sections. I have experience teaching my peers math in high school (geometry, algebra, calculus, etc.) and I have 3 younger siblings who I help with elementary and middle school level math. I am currently attending Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in Computer Science + Math.

I first find out all of the information the student should know. Next, I ask the student what information he/she is struggling with. I also quickly go over each topic and ask the student to tell me everything they can think of about the topic. From this, I am able to determine the gaps in the student's knowledge, what concepts they are struggling with, and how to proceed with my teaching strategy.
