About Grace
I love to work with children and education is very important to me! My services are for K-12 students who need help with their studies! I have 1 year experience in tutoring and I am currently a first year college student. I have a high school dimploma and I am working towards my Bachelor's in Psychology. I will help students achieve their goals by providing one-on-one style tutoring with practice problems and fun activities! :)
I love to see students expand their mind and education. I think it is empowering to watch them grow and I would love to be a part of that! The smile on a kid's face when they finally understand a concept is amazing!
I have 1 and 1/2 years experience as a teaching assistant in a 2nd grade classroom, as well as 1 year experience tutoring. I am looking to expand on this by helping students who are struggling in general as well as through the Covid-19 pandemic with the transition to online learning. I am also a first year college student at Arizona State University.

My typical process for working with a new student would be to first set up a meeting with the parent and or student to discuss the areas of concern within their education. I would then create a study plan based off of how the meeting went and what we discussed, and have a trial meeting with the student to go over worksheets and activities to see how they respond to different tutoring styles to create the best environment for them to expand on their learning.
I have worked with second graders and a 7th grade pre-algebra student.

I would charge roughly $15/session depending on how long and the level of education the student is at.
