About Nick
I am a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, supported by an extensive academic foundation in mathematics ranging from elementary concepts through Calculus IV and Statistics. This breadth of experience allows me to support students at every stage of their mathematical journey, from building core confidence to mastering advanced topics.
My approach to tutoring is grounded in both proven results and personal connection. During high school, I served as Class President and dedicated myself to ensuring every student in my class had the academic support needed to graduate. Through consistent, individualized tutoring, every student I worked with successfully completed their degree—an outcome that reflects my commitment to both accountability and encouragement.
I believe effective tutoring begins with understanding how each student thinks. I take the time to build trust, learn their learning style, and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. Whether that means breaking down concepts into simpler examples, using visual aids and drawings, or presenting material from an entirely new perspective, my goal is always the same: to help students feel comfortable, confident, and capable in mathematics. By meeting students where they are and guiding them with clarity and patience, I help transform math from a source of frustration into a skill they can rely on.
