About Judy
I am a NYS certified math teacher for grade 7-12 majoring in math and statistics at Stony Brook University. I have a strong background in math that can benefit students learning. My teaching technique was very effective to resolve the problems many students had. helping them understand the concepts clearly and teaching problem solving skills in a various way to fit their individual need was successful for students to accelerate their math skills. Math is my passion and the strongest subject and really enjoy working with students. it would be great pleasure if I can help you. You will be seeing how math can change your life.
I have studied secondary math education for grade 7-12 for my master degree and tought math in middle school for 7 years. I also have worked at Huntington Learning Center for 5 years and have been tutorig all math from elementary up to college level for over 10 years.

Perfect! Judy is an excellent tutor. She is patient, prepared, and knowledgeable. Works very well with my daughter.
Perfect! Judy tutored me for my grades 7-12 content specialty exam for graduate school. The exam contained a math section that basically covered a little bit of everything. I have always been a terrible math student, to the point it causes feelings of dread and anxiety to mention the subject. I studied under Judy for about 5 week, for 2 hours a week. I passed the test, first time. She is patient, prompt and has a kind demeanor. If she can foster these results in me, she can help you too.

Judy is a rockstar among math tutors. After 2 lessons brought my daughter from a B- to an A. I can’t thank her enough!!!
Judy is a great tutor. My daughter’s grades improved greatly. She is very patient and understanding. Judy knows about all of the material for the lesson. She makes sure that my daughter understands. She even gives homework, we are so pleased with Judy. She has tutoring my daughter for the past years now. She is highly recommended.
